Sorghum rice (Mosutlhane)
This is a de-hulled Sorghum grain which has no added preservatives. Mosutlhane undergoes the process of dehulling which is the removal of the husk through a process similar to rice making. Promoted by BAMB as an affordable Carbohydrate, which can substitute rice, Sorghum rice serves as a traditional cuisine which has gradually lost precedence due the influx of foreign foods.
Sorghum bran (Ntlatlawane)
This is Sorghum whole grain meal which has no added preservatives. Ntlatlawane is sorghum meal that has sorghum bran added to it. Also serving as part of the traditional cuisine, it has nutritious value to it and is usually prepared with milk instead of water.
