Livestock Advisory Centres functions transferred to BAMB

The Livestock Advisory Centres (LAC) previously housed at the Ministry of Agriculture under the Department of Veterinary Services sold livestock inputs such as animal drugs, medicines, dips, vaccines, livestock husbandry equipment and livestock feeds.

Plans are underway for Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB) to take over the outlets by 31st March 2016 bringing the total branches to thirty three countrywide. All the BAMB branches are listed as below with official opening dates;

BAMB will not dispense out vaccines that require to be kept cool to the purchaser unless they have a cool box with ice packs enough to maintain the temperature of vaccines during transportation from the premises.

All branches will open on weekdays between 0800 - 1730 except for Mondays from 0900 - 1730. During weekends branches will open on Saturdays from 0800 - 1300.
